3PM Co-Founders Sonia Majkic and Tamara Alaveras take out Young Entrepreneur Melbourne 2019 Marketing
Last Friday night, Melbourne’s most ambitious businesspeople and brightest young entrepreneurs flocked to the Yarra River for the Melbourne Young Entrepreneur Awards 2019.
The gala dinner and award ceremony were held at Cargo Hall, where 43 finalists competed to be named the Victorian capital’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year, along with the prestigious Trailblazer award and 16 other category awards. These ranged from marketing leaders to technology and fashion designers.
Taking out the Young Entrepreneur Melbourne 2019 Marketing award was 3 Phase Marketing’s Co-Founder duo, Sonia Majkic and Tamara Alaveras.
The pair started up their digital agency just over four years ago and have seen substantial growth since, working with over 100 clients and employing a dynamic and innovation-driven team.
Tamara said she was, “So honoured that our dedication, commitment and drive was recognised tonight, and that we shared the stage with such an impressive selection of business leaders who are making such a positive impact on the Australian economy.”
Sonia remarked that, “The competition was hot tonight and I am just delighted that we took home the award. This is hands down the greatest highlight of my career thus far.”
Young Entrepreneur Awards founder Camilla Jansen said of the awards to Business News Australia “Scaling up a business is no easy task. It requires the right decisions at critical moments, as well as substantial planning, dedication and passion”.
