Traditional food market pivots to eCommerce marketplace
Sherpa are an Australia-wide courier service providing contracted same-day delivery from businesses to their customers through an extensive driver network.
Sherpa’s website needed help - it was cluttered with too much information, and also targeted towards drivers and consumers, rather than businesses. They needed to attract attention from businesses, to drive more signups to their courier service.
We built a standalone, long-scroll microsite, specifically targeted to businesses and featuring a strong, topical call to action. Coupled with a targeted search engine marketing campaign, this enabled them to capture businesses in the market for a courier service.
In only four months, we delivered over 1,500 leads, an increase of 18%. This was such a big jump Sherpa had to employ two new people to handle the influx! Our selective and targeted marketing ensured the leads were quality, with 80% of them converting to sales.

What we did
In April 2020, Sherpa partnered with 3PM to deliver a dynamic marketing strategy that would put them at the forefront of surviving the pandemic that had recently rocked the market. We create a paid search campaign and a micro-site optimised for lead generation using advanced user experience functionalities.
In 4 months of activity, we delivered the client with over 1,500 leads through phone calls and form submissions. The website conversion rate was at an average of 6.62% and kept increasing, with a +18.28% increase from the first two months of the campaigns to the last two months. The result for the client was over 80% conversion rate from leads to sales. The campaign success lead to onboarding of two new Business Development Managers for Sherpa just to keep them with the demand.
